Robert Butch Hobson

Robert Owen “Butch” Hobson, age 60, of Eudora, died Tuesday, April 21, 2009, at his home. He was born August 4, 1948, in Greenville, Mississippi, the son of Ralph O. Hobson and Louise Craven Hobson. He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War and was a lineman for A T & T and a member of Eudora Baptist Church.

Survivors are his parents, Ralph and Louise Hobson of Eudora; a daughter, Allison Atchley and her husband, Chris, of Lake Village; a brother, Mark Hobson of Eudora and 2 grandsons, Gage and Blake Atchley.

Visitation is from 5 to 7 P.M. Wednesday, April 22, 2009, at Bishop Funeral Home in Eudora. Funeral services are 2:00 P.M. Thursday, April 23, 2009, at Eudora Baptist Church with Rev. Royce Christmas officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery under the direction of Bishop Funeral Home of Eudora.
