I met Diane in Mrs House's room in the 3rd grade. Tiny, shy, little Diane and I became friends and by the time of our graduation, she and I were very close. She introduced me to her uncle, Forrest McCrary, who I eventually married. I did forgive her for that as the years went on and I was at her bedside when she died after a long hard battle with ovarian cancer. Her large beautiful blue eyes, her sweet smile and musical laugh are unforgetable. She was a precious person and a dear friend who is greatly missed. Rest in Peace, Diane.
