Martin Raymond Conway, Sr., 60, died on Friday, May 2, 2008, at his home.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, May 6, at Faith Lutheran Church, where he served as pastor. Interment followed at the Greenville Cemetery.
Marty graduated from Greenville High School in 1966 and from Mississippi State University in 1971. He worked for 30 years at U. S. Axminister Company in Greenville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Lucic Conway, and his father, Martin Vincent Conway.
Survivors include two daughters, Melissa Conway and Sarah Conway Long of Greenville; two sons, Martin Conway, Jr. and John Conway of Johnson City, Tennessee; his mother, Betty Lord Conway, and sister, Laurie Conway Thore, both of Greensboro; brother, Thomas Conway of San Jose, California, and four grandchildren, of Greenville.
