Richard Daniel Peets Brandon, MS Richard Daniel Peets, 69, a resident of Brandon, MS died Saturday, June 11, 2016 at the Mississippi State Hospital in Whitfield, MS. There will be no services at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Mr. Peets was a native of Greenville, MS. He was the son of Daniel Edwin Peets and Lanell Marilyn Sweet Peets. He was married to Carolyn Jane Collins Peets. Mr. Peets worked as a Biologist for the Department of Environmental Quality. He was a member of Park Place Baptist Church in Pearl. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him. Mr. Peets was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Edwin Peets and Lanell Marilyn Sweet Peets; brothers, Bobby W. Peets and James E. Peets. Mr. Peets is survived by his wife of 40 years, Carolyn Jane Peets; daughter, Sarah K. Peets; brother, Michael Peets and a host of friends.
