Following graduation from GHS, Richard, Doug Adams, and I spent a couple of summers working together for the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture.  We shared some great times during those dusty Delta summers and got to know each other very well.  Richard was a great guy and very funny in a quiet way.  Stories of our adventures can't be shared in this forum, but ask Doug or me about them at the reunion.  Every time Doug and I have been together since we always remember Richard and those hot, summer, Delta days in the field.  Rest in Peace Richard.  -Ron Pope-

Richard, Larry Dreher, and I spent a lot of time together during the summers of our high school years as well. We put as lot of miles on that old green Nash Rambler he drove forever.I lost contact with Richard after high school and have wondered many times about him. I can share an episode with you, Ron Pope, at the reunion that can't be told on this website !!!!
