Debbie died on April 13th from Lou Gehrig's disease.  She was a sweet girl and played in the GHS School Band.  Praying for her family and friends.  Thank you Charlotte Davenport Oliver for letting us know of her death.

Debbie King Fultner passed away Saturday, April 13, 2013 in Houston, TX. Debbie was born on October 3, 1948 to Bobbye Kate and Boots King in Greenville, MS. A graduate of Greenville High School and Mississippi State University, Debbie was a majorette in high school, a member of the Lion's Club Mississippi Band and a proud member of MSU's Famous Maroon Band as well as the Clarinet Choir.

After receiving a degree in French from MSU, she returned to school to earn her R.N., B.S.N. and Master's of Nursing at Texas Women University. Debbie taught nursing at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth and also at Harris Junior College in the Houston area.

Debbie leaves her husband Joe of Oak Ridge North, TX, 2 sons, Brad Bahr (Sara) of Mansfield, TX and Greg Bahr (Rachel) of Fort Worth, TX, Holly Tingle of Conroe, TX and Cristina Moreno of Denton, TX. Also surviving Debbie are her brother Bob King (Debbie) of Keller, TX, sister, Mary Kirk King of Madison, MS, 6 grandchildren, 2 nieces, 3 great nieces and a great nephew.

Viewing will be at held Tuesday April 16, from 5 to 8pm at Metcalf Funeral Directors 1801 E. White Oak Terrance Conroe, TX 77301.

A viewing will be held at 1pm, with the Service following at Spring Baptist Church, 1027 Spring Cypress Rd, Spring Texas 77373 on Wednesday April 17 commencing at 2pm.

Memorials may be made to the ALS Society in Houston, TX at Post Office Box 271561, Houston, TX 77277 or the charity of your choice.
