PORT ST. JOE, Fla. — Franklin Page Bauer, 64, of Port St. Joe, Fla. and formerly of Greenville, died Jan. 1, 2013, after a brief illness. A memorial service will be planned in the future.

Frank grew up in Greenville, graduated from Greenville High School and went on to graduate from Delta State University in Cleveland. Frank was a longtime proprietor of High Point, a bed-and-breakfast in Natchez, where he loved to cook for and entertain guests.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Carl A. Bauer and Betty Bauer Anzaldo; a long-time friend and partner, John Davis; and many beloved aunts and uncles.

He is survived by a sister, Beth Bauer and her husband, Andy Durance; a brother, Carl Bauer, his wife, Connie, and their children, Brett and Jessica, and their families; an uncle, Fred P. Bauer and his wife, Yvonne; and numerous cousins.
